True story: On a February night in 1999, a priest, a cop, and a football coach entered a bar in South Philadelphia to escape a blizzard. 
Actually, the place was more of restaurant, a red gravy joint called Fredrick’s, located near the docks of the Delaware River, and the priest was already inside dining with a couple from the neighborhood, the only patrons of the evening. The cop knew the owner, Freddie, and asked him for a solid. He’s on his way. Keep the kitchen open.
