The Eagles’ wide receiver depth chart thinned on Monday with DeVante Parker’s decision to retire. The veteran wide receiver told ESPN he wants to spend more time with his family.

Parker signed with the Eagles in March to give them veteran depth on the outside. He was not assured a roster spot — Parker was not projected to make the 53-man roster in my prediction last week — but there was a reason why the Eagles added him.
