PHILADELPHIA -- On some level, Cutter Gauthier must have known his first game in Philadelphia was going to be a circus.
He couldn't have guessed it also would have been an noncompetitive blowout, though.
The Flyers took apart Gauthier's Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night in front of a sold-out Wells Fargo Center crowd, winning by a 6-0 final score. Sam Ersson stopped 22 shots to earn his second shutout of the season, while all of Morgan Frost, Jamie Drysdale, Owen Tippett, Ryan Poehling, Matvei Michkov and Garnet Hathaway lit the lamp for the Flyers in one of the team's most memorable home victories in years.
