Sounds like a solid depth move with upside. We’ve still got lots of work to do, but this is a decent albeit slightly underwhelming start to free agency, but we knew this was not going to be a big, splashy year for FA, so in that context it’s a solid move. Find a way to bring back Grimes and Yabusele, make a few more low-risk moves with upside like this one, and we’ll be in decent shape roster-wise. Then, as always, it just comes down to staying healthy.
