I would rather accumulate first rounders than trade them away for deep bench backup players. So, not a good trade at all. Morey has proven to be very good at drafting, even in the 20’s of the first round, so why not accumulate a lot of first round picks and let him go to town. Maxey and McCain are two very good selections. Let him draft. Morey is much better at drafting than trading, so why not unload vets for picks and rebuild through the draft. That would be what makes more sense to me. Unload George for at least one first round pick and expiring contracts, and start all over next year.
