Hey Kyle, from last year, my two biggest concerns (besides whether Joel will ever fully develop into a reliable passer with low turnovers) were defense and rebounding – both were a problem (#analysis). So I very much agree that for Caleb Martin, the defensive increment is the biggest thing – especially alongside the PG addition. As the team is constructed now, there are still rebounding concerns – maybe even worse – but let’s see how that goes. I do at least partly believe the Derek idea that rebounding might improve with fewer people scurrying around to defend blowbys… I think we are heading toward being a pretty solid defensive team, which is great.
