Joel Embiid’s injury fuels uncertainty, pessimism as Sixers begin critical offseason

Towards the end of the combined Daryl Morey and Nick Nurse press conference yesterday at the Wells Fargo Center, the Sixers' president of basketball operations made a relatively innocuous, but likely controversial, declaration.
"Last year, we had no choice but to have a lot of [roster] turnover," Morey said. "I think this year we're gonna have a lot of continuity. I think that will help."
On the one hand, continuity has been lacking in this organization for virtually the entirety of the Joel Embiid era.
