The U18 World Juniors are over. A Canada team that (on paper) were a slight cut below the usual standard won, romping the favored Swedes in the final by a 7-0 score. The attendance in the Dallas, Texas suburbs might have been disappointing, with only 1,300 people showing up for the final – probably half of whom were scouts and team staff from all levels of hockey - but the tournament itself was not.
