Finally… after hitting refresh every few hours, a new Flyers draft article.

I am super excited about this weekend and what this influx of talent will mean for the Flyers. Of course, it’s gonna take time to see what they get, but the buzz is there.

My guess – they will most certainly trade away some of their lower 1st/higher 2nd picks: either as part of a trade to move up or into next year. Having so many prospects all coming into the system at the same age also poses a potential log jam for the team a few years down the line – most of them will need time in the NHL to get their legs but the team can’t bring up 3-4 players all at the same time.

And the Flyers have reportedly just traded for Zegras!

Great stuff as always, Charlie and Alex. I’m also a huge fan of Pyotr Andreyanov. How much do you think his stock will fall after signing with CSKA through 2030 today? With Zavragin also in the pipeline, it might not be the worst thing in the world to have some talent in net spaced out among the prospect pool. Still, 2031 is a loooong way away.
