On the first day of the Sixers' pre-Summer League minicamp, VJ Edgecombe's teammates and coaches were ready to join the chorus of people who have praised him at previous stops. What you see in the games is what you see in practice settings: nuclear athleticism and a veteran's approach to the game.
"He plays super hard and he's coachable, and he's really trying to get the stuff we're trying to put in early for Summer League," Summer League head coach T.J. DiLeo said Tuesday.
