Day 1 Flyers free agency wrap-up: Short-term deals the focus as Briere signs Dvorak, Vladar

Philadelphia Flyers general manager Daniel Briere promised that he would make adds this summer, with the caveat that he didn't expect to jump into the deep end of the unrestricted free agency pool.
If the active portion of his offseason is finished, Briere kept his promise.
The big move of Briere's summer -- aside from a widely-praised draft -- was last week's trade for Trevor Zegras, providing the Flyers with a high-upside 24-year old forward who could help address the team's huge hole down the middle.
