Danny Briere TRADES Ryan Ellis; Jett Luchanko makes Flyers roster | PHLY Flyers Podcast

Philadelphia Flyers GM Danny Briere opened up some space under the salary cap on Sunday, trading the long-injured Ryan Ellis’ contract to the San Jose Sharks for Carl Grundstrom & Artem Guryev. Neither player should play much of a role in Orange & Black, but the move does free up the LTIR common drum that was Ryan Ellis.

Briere also met with the media on Monday to discuss the move, as well as the final roster which must be submitted to the league by this evening.
