I am soooo tired of hearing about how “we have to develop consistency on offense” or establishing an identity. The only thing different from 2023 is I don’t think Vic’s defense will collapse down the stretch.

Can they PLEASE do something different then the TUSH PUSH on 3rd or 4th and one. Something, anything.
They mentioned on one of the post game shows that Tom Brady’s success rate on 4th and short was 87% and that the TUSH PUSH sucess rate has decreased again this year from the previous. I am glad it will be banned after this year to be honest. Maybe they can get a little more creative instead of the lazy approach with the TUSH PUSH.

The BEST THING I can say about Patullo is he is inept. Trying to ice the game last night I watched as Saquon went off tackle on 1st and 10 and picked up 5 yards. On 2nd and 5 attempted to go straight up the middle and ran into a pile for no gain. This has happened quite a few times this season. I mean it’s like Patullo has never watched game film in his life.

Remember when you were little and playing football with your friends in a local park and you “called” plays by drawing in the dirt? That’s how picture Patullo calling plays in the dirt. I am waiting for the sideline camera shot where he is bent down on the sideline with Hurts, Brown, Barkley just drawing in the dirt.

Agree with most of what you said, particularly how infrequently they toss the ball to Saquon on the outside, where he gets a head of steam and always gains yards.
The offense does have an identity; it is inept.
I wonder why our top-notch receivers are never open. Are they limited by the predictable routes they run? Do Sirianni and Patullo lack imagination? Are these the routes Hurts prefers?
It is befuddling. And frustrating to watch.

The other issue Jim is 2nd or third and 10 and they throw 40 yards down the field to a guy who is doubled covered and that has happened quite frequently this year too. How about when you are up by one score late in the game you manage the clock by just picking up 1st downs and eating time.

I watched the Giants-GB game yesterday and I just couldn’t believe that the Ginats all day just picked up 5 and 6 yards and went up and down the field on the Packers and I thought to myself why didn’t the Eagles do that to Green Bay.

Nope not Patullo. 1st and 10 incomplete pass. 2nd down run for 2 yards. 3rd down and 8 throw 40 yards down the field. Incomplete. 4th down Punt. Every week 2nd and long lets run. He is so predictable.

also very embarrassing that they can’t even execute a hard count on that play. Much has been said of the strategic shortcomings of the offense but they are just as big of a disaster from an operations perspective. Can’t hardcount, can’t get a play off with more than 1 second on the play clock, can’t use a silent count on their own field, constant penalties, etc.

Respectfully, this sentence doesn’t make any sense: After the game, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni likened the impact Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter had on Sunday’s win to the years he spent coaching against former Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt as an assistant coach for the Indianapolis Colts.

I think you’re getting at Sirianni comparing Davis/Carter’s impact to that of J.J. Watt, but this sentence doesn’t state that clearly. The years Sirianni didn’t have the impact, Watt did!
