Turnovers and the third quarter woes were too much to overcome for Tyrese Maxey, Sixers in a 121-112 loss to the Raptors. Philadelphia committed 21 turnovers that led to 31 points for Toronto — plus, the 76ers dropped the third 44-26. Maxey and the Sixers fought back in the fourth but ultimately fell short, pushing their record to 8-6 on the season. Maxey led all scorers with 24 points and handed out a game-high nine assists. VJ Edgecombe and Quentin Grimes added 21 each, while Andre Drummond collected his 5th straight double-double. The Raptors posted six players in double-figures with Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett leading the way with 21 apiece. Philadelphia will travel to face the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night for the second leg of their back-to-back.
