Sam Ersson & Philadelphia Flyers fall short to Avalanche as Nichuskin & Burns’ goals secure 3-2 win

The NHL-best Colorado Avalanche got the best of Sam Ersson, as goals from Brent Burns, Brock Nelson, and Valeri Nichuskin secured the victory for the Avs over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Sean Couturier and Nick Seeler both had milestones for the Orange and Black, playing in their 900th and 400th career games respectively, and Sean Couturier did open the scoring for the game early in the 1st.
