Despite a highlight reel assist by Trevor Zegras and a 2-1 lead with under five minutes remaining in the second period, the Philadelphia Flyers choked away a game after dominating most of the first 30 minutes. Sam Ersson wasn’t great, but this one is on the offense, which was unable to beat Sam Ersson with a plethora of shots and chances before the Sabres’ skaters woke up.
