Honest question EJ, was it Nicks decision alone to rest the starters? I assume this is more of a Howie/Jeff decision made with Nicks inpu.

My Observations:

I have no problem with Siranni resting the starters. They still should have beaten Josh “frigging” Johnson.

1. The Tanner McKee enthusiasm should be done now right? He finally played a game with something to play for unlike last year. He overthrew guys, terrible INT in the red zone. Twice inside the redzone and came away with nothing. Tanner McKee is a backup QB. Made some bad decisions and should have been picked off a couple of more times.

2. Defensively there is a HUGE gap between the starters and the backups. H-U-G-E. I pray no one in the starting secondary goes down. Kelee Ringo can’t play. He has no football IQ. What the hell was that running AWAY from Josh Johnson? We know why Adoree Jackson was never replaced. Ringo, Bennett should not be on the team next year.

3. The off season cannot come fast enough. I am so done with Kevin Patullo. Where was the run game on the last 3 series. I mean 2nd, 3rd or 4th and short and you are throwing 30 yard passes down the field. He took Bigsby out and he was there most effective offensive player. You have a backup QB who hasn’t played all year behind a backup offensive line and you have him throw FORTY-THREE TIMES!. By no means am I OC material but to me that is common sense. You have a RB AVERAGING roughly 5 yards a carry and you remove him from your scheme. Patullo is incompetent. It’s that plain and simple.

4. Trotter Jr. can play. Does he become the #3 LB next year? I think Nakobe walks.
5. SF wins 23-16. I have zero faith this offense can do anything more than what we have seen. Vic’s guys will give their usual outstanding effort but unless they can get some pick-6 or fumble returns for TDs this offense cannot win a game and this season will mercifully come to an end and hopefully the offseason brings about the dismissal of Patullo. Jalen Hurts will have to suck it having another new OC.

Of course you rest the key players.
Disappointed with McKee.
Flabergasted by how terrible Ringo is
No idea what Patullo was calling.
I hope they had called a game, not wanting to give anything away. HA!
The Eagles’ O is a Ferrari driven by an incompetent driver (Patullo) and an over conservative superior (Sirianni)
But, I still expect (hope) the Eagles will host the championship game against LA.
Eagles/SF, GB/Chicago
Eagles / GB, LA/ Seattle
Not very confident about the outcome vs. LA.
