Behind an 80 point first half performance, the Sixers’ highest scoring output in a half this season, the Philadelphia 76ers improved to 22-16 thanks to a convincing 115-102 win over the Raptors to split the back-to-back in Toronto and tie the season series at two games each.
The Sixers were led by Tyrese Maxey, who came out of the gate on fire with 18 first quarter points on 6-7 shooting. Maxey finished with 33 points on the night. The Sixers also received big contributions from Joel Embiid (27 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists) and VJ Edgecombe, who added 8 assists in addition to his 15 points on 5-7 shooting, including 5-6 from 3-point range.
The Raptors were led by 18 points from Immanuel Quickley, 17 from Brandon Ingram and 15 from Scottie Barnes.
