Tyrese Maxey’s poor shooting night and the team’s frustrating defense resulted in the Philadelphia 76ers‘ 116-110 loss to the Phoenix Suns as they let one slip away. Maxey just didn’t have it as he shot 7-25 from the floor for 17 points in a winnable game on the second night of a back-to-back. VJ Edgecombe (25) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (21) did their best by picking up the scoring slack, but it wasn’t enough against the hot-shooting Suns. Devin Booker poured in 27 to lead all scorers. The PHLY Sixers podcast reacts to the disappointing defeat.
