The Philadelphia 76ers drop their first of the season to the New York Knicks following a 112-109 final. The Sixers led 64-60 at the half behind Joel Embiid’s 28-point first half, but Jalen Brunson and the Knicks held the 76ers to just 13 points in the third and opened a 90-77 advantage by the end of the frame. New York did just enough in the fourth to hold off Tyrese Maxey and Co. to secure the first win of the year over their division rival. Embiid finished with a game-high 38, while Brunson paced the visitors with 31. The PHLY Sixers podcast reacts to the entertaining game.
