Flyers Head Coach Rick Tocchet TALKS Matvei Michkov, Denver Barkey, Fixing Inept Power Play & More

Wednesday was Rick Tocchet’s turn to meet with the media and wrap up 2025-26 season with an exit interview in which he discussed his “controversial” decision to scratch Matvei Michkov for game 4 against the Hurricanes, and his relationship with the 21-year-old Russian sophomore. Tocchet also went into detail on fixing the power play, which has sucked for 5 years, his assessment of other young players and more.
