PHILADELPHIA — The disaster continues.
Facing off against the defending champion Carolina Hurricanes for the second time this season, the Philadelphia Flyers couldn’t even manage an overtime loss like they did two Saturdays prior. This time, the Hurricanes took apart the Flyers in regulation, cruising to a 4-1 victory, and sending the Flyers to their seventh consecutive loss — a franchise-record for most losses to start a season.
Christian Dvorak scored the Flyers’ only goal, who fell to 0-5-2 with the loss and continue to dig their start-of-season hole ever deeper. Joseph Woll stopped 26 shots in defeat.

Have they made any strategic changes yet? All I see is management running in front of cameras to say “work harder” and signing up a 30+ year old bottom sixer.
