The Philadelphia Flyers lost their third straight game on Wednesday night, dropping them to 3-8-4 (3-12) for the season. Philly scored 2 goals against Washington, marking the 10th time they’ve scored 2 or fewer in a game through the first 15 contests. The Orange & Black are not playing particularly entertaining hockey. On top of that, team captain Sean Couturier called them “soft” after the loss to the Capitals, the most insulting criticism that can be used to describe an NHL team.
