The Eagles had the ball for 10 minutes in the third quarter. The Cowboys had the ball for 11 minutes in the 4th. The Eagles scored 14 points, the Cowboys only 6. That’s the game right there, the Eagles scored when they absolutely had to, and the Cowboys didn’t.

Details matter when teams are this close. The Cowboys offense played probably it’s best game and still only scored 6 points in the 2nd half and lost. Not saying the Eagles dominated but that has to be a good sign going forward if the Eagles have to play Dallas in the playoffs.

The Eagles have set a very high bar for themselves and every week it seems like they win while not reaching that bar. But I guess that’s what great teams do.
