Everyone in the orbit of the Philadelphia Flyers knows that Owen Tippett is already a good NHL player.
Talk to his teammates and coaches, however, and it's obvious that they all believe he will ultimately turn out to be a lot better than that.
"There's no real limit on him, the way he skates and protects the puck," Scott Laughton said after Tippett's two-goal standout showing on Thursday night against the Dallas Stars.
"He can be a superstar," Travis Konecny added on Friday afternoon.
"He's at the cusp of being someone special," head coach John Tortorella said. "I think as he keeps maturing, he’s going to find his way there."
