Has Wade Allison fallen off entirely? I thought he was starting to turn a corner

Well, he’s not a prospect anymore given the fact that he played 60 games in the NHL last season, making him ineligible for these lists now.

That said, yeah, it doesn’t seem like he’s a top organizational priority anymore. It’ll take a fair amount of injuries to get him a recall, and then he’ll have to kill it up here if he does get another shot.

Thanks, Charlie. I always enjoy reading Flahr’s thoughts on the up-and-comers.

I was curious, did he have any additional comments or insights on Gauthier, or was that subject largely avoided? Maybe less directly about him personally, since that ship has sailed, but more on whether that situation changes anything about the Flyers’ process with their prospects moving forward?

Nah, that really wasn’t the focus of the interview.

“How does he go about overcoming that, given he might not have a month or two months to play his way into the league?
Yeah, well, that’s up to him.”

I don’t understand how they continue to have this gaping blind spot to players who need time to flourish. Morgan Frost was the same way. They literally acknowledge there are players who need a few weeks to find their way at a new level, and then they say “well, it’s on them to figure it out immediately anyhow”.
