It has been a whirlwind start to July for the Philadelphia 76ers, as they have come to terms with Paul George on a 4-year, $212 million maximum contract, then followed it up with a 5-year, $204 million maximum contract extension for Tyrese Maxey. The series of moves have left the Sixers with a core of Maxey, George and Joel Embiid all locked up for at least the next three seasons.
But work is not yet done.
