Can the sixers do 1 and 3 together, i.e. aggregate Reed and a signed-and-traded KJ Martin into one trade to increase the salary they can take back and/or avoid being hard capped? for example if they gave Martin a 14.4 mil starting salary (with the 2nd and 3rd years NG) and aggregated him with Reed, they could 100% match (7.7 Reed, 7.2 50% of KJM) DFS 14.9 mil salary and acquire DFS w/o being hard capped? I understand this is complicated because the nets would have to be able to take in 22.3 and be hard capped, but is it permissible? Separate but related question: how much, if any, of Reed’s salary would have to be guaranteed to trade him?
