Scouting Jack Berglund, their newly-drafted Swedish center prospect

Going into the 2024 NHL draft, it was clear that one of the Philadelphia Flyers’ top priorities was to stock up on prospects down the middle. Both general manager Daniel Brière and AGM Brent Flahr alluded to the center spot being the weakness in a pool that was otherwise deep, and in that regard, it is hard to argue with them.
Center had long been a strength of the Flyers organization. Think back to the 1990s, into the 2000s, all the way up to the mid-2010s.
