Well, the unbeaten (preseason) record was unlikely to last for too long.
After dominating the Washington Capitals' B-team on Sunday night to the tune of a 6-2 score, the Philadelphia Flyers sent a lineup filled largely with NHL depth players, prospects and organizational depth to Montreal and dealt with a blowout of their own, losing to the Canadiens by a 5-0 final tally.
