Fran's film review: Jalen Carter dominates in defense's best performance of the season

The Eagles defense came to play on Sunday against the Saints, with every level of the defense showing up in a big way. The defensive line was dominant against the run and harassed Derek Carr from the jump. The linebackers played fast and physical downhill. The secondary didn’t let up much of anything downfield against a pass game that had been extremely explosive to start the year. While it was a full team effort, we shouldn’t bury the lede.
Jalen Carter was a monster in this football game. 

Carter’s pass-rush win rate (per ProFootballFocus) was 29.2 percent on Sunday, the highest of any qualifying defensive tackle in Week 3. PFF ...
