After wrapping up their short slate of preseason action last weekend, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms are gearing up for the start of their regular season, and expectations are high.
Coming on the heels of a nice -- if slightly surprising -- little run in the playoffs last spring and back again with both a more skilled and more mature lineup loaded top-to-bottom with intriguing prospect talent, they’re expected to shore up some of last season’s issues and take a real step forward.
