The end of a a baseball season is so sudden. Sometimes, you just need a day to process a tough loss.
When it comes to the Phillies, I do not proclaim to be a baseball expert. Certainly am not pretending to be an unbiased reporter, either. But as someone who watches 140-plus games per year and devours daily coverage of the local baseball team, I feel entitled to chime in on a once-magical season coming to a screeching halt.
So, 24 hours later, here is what this fan has for you.
This was not the toughest Phillies playoff exit of the 21st century. But it was not the easiest, either.
