Fran, how much would have two backup OL dictate the protections. Did the Eagles protections in this game look significantly different than having the normal OL?

Fran, is there a study of how offenses develop over a season or from season to season with a new OC? The degree to which Hurts ‘22 seems an outlier in sense of confidence/command of offense and second year with Steichen feels very subjective but also noteworthy. Is there any statistical evidence of that being a thing?

On the 2nd sack of the game, to me it looks like hurts has plenty of room to step up in the pocket and has plenty of room to run. Becton blocks the LB and there’s a lot of open field. This to me is one of hurts biggest weaknesses, he always looks to bail out to the right instead of stepping up in the pocket.

One thing I notice with Saquan is, he doesn’t always take the right route when he gets to the second level. But still, it’s hard to complain since he’s been great so far.
