I am a big fan of Coots and really hope he can be a competitive player again. I worry this is a dead cat bounce and won’t be repeatable.

Trade Couts now. Will his trade value ever be greater than after this hat trick? If this is a true rebuild, buy low and sell high, and get draft picks and unload payroll, so they can enter FA as soon as possible, and get out of salary cap jail. Flyers are in a serious talent crisis. They need studs, young studs. The draft is critical. Trade anyone other than MM, who gets hot, for first round picks. Couts especially. Let’s not kid ourselves here.
