Bowen: Vic Fangio's Eagles defense, much better, still could use sharper edge

The main takeaway from Vic Fangio’s press conference Tuesday seemed to be Fangio’s answer to a question about the trade deadline. The Eagles’ defensive coordinator was asked if there was a position where he’d like to get some help, and Fangio said “No,” adding that historically, trade deadline half-season rentals “really haven’t had the effect some teams were hoping for.”
Somewhere out there, the back of Robert Quinn’s neck tingled, and he had no idea why. (In case you forgot, 2022, four tackles in nine games, no sacks.)
