RALEIGH -- It was one thing when the Philadelphia Flyers were, in Scott Laughton's words, fully "disconnected" to the point where nothing was working as intended. That was the case just two weeks ago, in the midst of a five-game losing streak.
Now, the Flyers' defensive play has tightened up. They've won three of their last five games, and allowed just three goals over their last three. This isn't a team struggling in every facet anymore, and the results have shown it.
But it is still struggling in one very important area: offense.
