In a Lehigh Valley Phantoms season already filled to the brim with interesting storylines, perhaps none other has been more compelling than the rapid emergence of Alexis Gendron as one of the team’s most dynamic playmakers.
It’s been a long and somewhat arduous journey for him to get to this point. Because of his early birthday, Gendron -- the team's seventh round draft pick in 2022 -- was able to make his debut in the AHL last season as a 19-year old, making the rare and steep jump from the QMJHL to the pros as a teenager.
