It should be clear to all that the Philadelphia Flyers are playing better hockey these days.
Not elite hockey. Not perfect hockey. But certainly better hockey.
Since returning home from their early November road trip, the Flyers are 8-4-2, good for a 105-point pace. They've also dramatically upped their game at 5-on-5, posting a 55.12 percent on-ice expected goal share over that span, ranking them fifth-best in the NHL.
