PHILADELPHIA -- Generally speaking, when a team falls behind 2-0 to the defending champion Florida Panthers, they don't leave the building after the final buzzer as winners.
But on Monday night, the Philadelphia Flyers found a way.
Three third period goals -- including two from Noah Cates -- propelled the Flyers to an unlikely 4-3 victory over the Panthers. Morgan Frost and Garnet Hathaway also lit the lamp for the Flyers, while goalie Sam Ersson made 20 saves to earn the win. Former Flyer Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 25 shots in defeat.
