NEW YORK CITY -- Both the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers entered Thursday evening on standings point streaks, with the Flyers having gone without a regulation loss in six straight and the Rangers with points in each of their last nine.
As was the tagline of another epic battle that occurred within the New York City limits, there can be only one. And on this night, it was the Flyers who lost their metaphorical heads.
