Evaluating the Joel Farabee/Morgan Frost trade, and why it announces a new stage of the Flyers rebuild

Since the summer of 2023, the Philadelphia Flyers have been in an openly-declared state of rebuild. And in rebuilds, tough decisions must be made -- which draft picks to make, which assets to move, which prospects to prioritize. And, of course, which NHL roster players to keep.
On Thursday night, general manager Daniel Briere made two of those tough rebuild decisions on long-time roster players in Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee.
