Tyrese Maxey, Guerschon Yabusele and the Philadelphia 76ers went toe-to-toe with Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets on Friday night but fell short in a 137-134 loss, snapping their winning streak at four. Maxey scored a game-high 42 points to go with nine assists, Yabusele dropped a career-high 28 in the loss. Philadelphia matched their season-high of 21 made threes but it wasn’t enough to come away with the victory.
