Another great system win from Torts, keeping the Flyers in that 15 to 25 first round draft area where elite talent is not available. Nice work Torts! Mediocrity remains the goal!

DB and Jonesy really need to beg Howie Roseman for a two day visit to the Linc to learn how to run a championship team. We have two rookie novices running the Flyers and so far the results are not impressive. Howie understands you start a rebuild with elite talent, and you overpay to get the tentpoles in place. DB and Jonesy are starting with peripheral talent around the edges, instead. Huge error in strategy. DB and Jones are fortunate to be near two of the greatest architects of champs in the history of the NFL and MLB, Howie and Dombroski. After a two day seminar with Howie, they should then beg Dombo for two days with him. Pick their brains and learn. Because they are clueless so far. The Gauthier mess and trade for Drysdale was weak. Letting Torts system win them into the no man’s land of drafting 15 to 25 is not where elite talent is procured. Cap mismanagement is preventing top FA signings. Reluctance to overpay in trades to get a top 5 or top 10 pick is weak. Get some humble pie and learn from the experts, Howie and Dombo.
