The Philadelphia 76ers' season has been a disaster in almost every possible way, from the availability of their stars, to the performance of Nick Nurse, and right down to their 20-38 record, which currently has them on the outside looking in of not only the playoffs, but even the play-in tournament.
It's tough to focus on any one thing when almost literally everything has gone wrong, but perhaps the most inexplicable failure of this team is that they're currently the 5th worst defense in the league, and falling rapidly, having had the worst defense in the league since the calendar flipped to 2025.
