Phantoms report: Avon picking up steam, Tuomaala back in action

It’s been a long and strange season for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, but this past week offered a bit of a snap out of some of the repetitiveness that the schedule has thrown at them, with a four-game road trip out to the rarely-faced Western Conference.
It was a trip that – just like the previous weekend's three-in-three series – was reasonably successful, as they come away from it with five of eight available points in the back pocket, and some quite notable standout performances from the prospect group. Let’s get into it.
