Two entities that don’t have the friendliest of histories.

While over the last 30 years of Flyers history the team actually has a very respectable record in terms of drafting in the first round, the second round has been less kind to them. One can go all the way back to Bob Clarke’s second stint as Flyers GM, and it would be hard to utilize second round picks worse than the Flyers actually have.From 1994-2018 -- 25 drafts -- the Flyers took 17 players in the second round, due to Clarke and Paul Holmgren’s predilection for moving those picks for rentals.
