Or, perhaps more accurately, a bump.
Both Alex Bump and Devin Kaplan signed NHL entry-level contracts with the club on Tuesday in the lead-up to Game 81 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Their second and third picks in the 2022 draft -- their first selection, was, of course, Cutter Gauthier -- Bump and Kaplan did not go the way of their former organization mate, and instead chose to officially join the Flyers for their respective professional careers.
