Zach Berman and Bo Wulf trade emails each week previewing the Eagles’ upcoming game. Here is the transcript:
Bo,
I just left the practice field, where the Eagles had their final session of the week. Lane Johnson and DeVonta Smith both participated, and both players will play Sunday against the Dolphins. (“You ain’t gotta worry about me,” Smith said. “I’ll be out there.”)
Bad news for the Eagles: Reed Blankenship did not practice. He’s been sidelined all week and won’t play on Sunday. That means the Eagles are likely turning to Terrell Edmunds and Sydney Brown as the starting safeties. It will be the seventh different starting secondary in seven weeks.
Slot cornerback Bradley Roby is also out...
