You’d certainly expect everyone with the Eagles to have Jake Elliott’s back – he's only the best kicker in the history of the franchise, with Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors on his resume – but I thought special teams coordinator Michael Clay made an important point in the framing of his affirmation, when Clay met with reporters Tuesday.
