Howie Roseman allowed Wednesday that the NFL is “a very humbling league,” as Eagles general manager Roseman and head coach Nick Sirianni met with reporters before the first practice of training camp.
The context was a question that invited Roseman to crow about the roster he’d assembled; Roseman has gotten a lot of love for his offseason moves. Those included signing away from the rival Giants their marquee player, running back Saquon Barkley, while making major moves to rebuild a defense that was at the center of the team’s 2023 collapse from 10-1 to 11-7 and done after the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
